I watched it for the first time last night. I must admit, though, my son-in-law is a Marine who has done three tours in Iraq and this hit too close to home. I have been with my daughter when she heard the doorbell ring (when SIL was deployed) and saw the terror in her eyes ... that was enough for me.
I think the show gave us all a glimpse into what so many women and men live every day ... can I say grateful for what I have?
