That's only because I made 8 blocks at this sitting. I tend to work in an assembly-line fashion. Do the same thing for all the blocks at one time. Like I have all the fusible drawn & cut out for all 36 blocks. I did fabric selection for all 16 center blocks at the same time.

Now I am drawing the design on the outer 20 blocks. I had put that off until I got my light box.

The next thing I'm doing is sewing the 16 blocks together into the center unit & then I have to decide what I'm going to do about that little inner border. Haven't given it any thought as I wanted to see what the blocks would look like before making any decisions.
