The Flylady RubbaScrubba works really well too. The hair rolls right up and won't damage the fabric. PetSmart has the same kinda thing, but it's twice the price. I also have the Furminator, but just make sure there are no tangles or knots b/c it could break it. I use regular brushes first, then the furminator.
