Ok.. I want to make this square.. (pic below) I want to make the square about 8 inches. with a 2 inch white border around it. (in the middle of the square will be a hand applique star in white fabric. I want to make it a california king size.. no idea about the dementions of that (average size is fine). I am thinking of doing a red, white and blue 6 inch border around the outside.. Can anybody give me a general idea of how much fabric I will need?
I don't need specific amount I will buy prolly an extra 2 years extra as a precaution and give the extra away to a stash person.
