I use half water, half vinegar with 2 drops of dish liquid to cut grease. I live next to a country store and the delivery trucks leave the engines running so I have diesel soot to deal with. Wipe with newspapers (no gloss) and finish with an old towel if needed.
This one works best for me, half water, half vinegar couple dropes dish liquid. fyi, Dawn liquid does the best. I really, really do not like washing windows, really, for sure....
