I see alot of people ask about these. Since most people piece in 1 color, why not just get extra bobbins and wind 15 or 20 of them at one time? That way you will have another one to go to right away. I pre-wind as many bobbins as I have available too. I ran across a whole bunch once at an estate sale. Must have been around 30 or so. Some still had thread on them.
