I can so relate! People who don't quilt don't get the hours of time in your head planning, on paper, cutting, piecing, pressing, layout, sandwiching, and THEN the hours of the actual hand quilting, and THEN binding. Thanks for the blanket. I'm torn between only wanting to give my quilts to other quilters, and taking satisfaction in how much I enjoy the work, even if they don't get it. A true work of art. Obviously a quilt. Great work, skill, and tenacity.
