I agree with everyone else here. The Goodville link is a great resource. I can't remember the name but there's also a place in, I believe, Bird In Hand that looks like a house that is amazing. It's a rabbits warren of rooms full of fabrics at great prices. Also in Intercourse in addition to the shops already mentioned is one that just opened last year called Bitty Kinna's. It's on the same main street as Zook's but in the opposite direction from the main parking area (if that made any sense). I also agree that a trip to Denver is not really necessary and the shops are a bear to find. It's well worth the trip from Intercourse to Lancaster as bobquilt3 suggests - great fabric shops as well as others along the way. Depending on your energy level it call all be done in a single day. I live in central NJ and it takes me about 1.5 hrs to get there. Well worth my time and gas.
