I'm 77 and only lost one, I broke it somehow and it got infected.
I'm with most others, wondering why is this dentist trying to have him remove perfectly good teeth?
My youngest son has a much smaller tooth growing BEHIND and half way down one of his front teeth. Our long time dentist (since retired) ex-rayed it and then advised us not to do anything to it, since he could not determine if it did or didn't have roots of its own. Said to leave it alone until or if it gave him problems. I asked him about it last year and he had to check it out with tongue and finger, its still there and not bothering him at all.
Oldest daughter had an extra tooth erupt on top of one next to a wisdom tooth, that one had to come out but she still has all the others at age 50 plus.
