I use these scissors for just about everything!! They belonged to my ex husbands grandmother who passed away in 1983 at the age of 97. So they are well over a 100 years old. They are a matched set from 3 to 6 inches and are super sharp! The leather case is stained and the silk lining is in shreds but nothing wrong with the scissors. You can tell which ones she used most because a lot of the gold detailing on the handles has worn away. The blades say Solingen, Germany on them. I inherited them and her handmade oak quilting frame because I was the only one in the family who quilted.
