I've been a lurker on this board for a few months (my mom introduced me — we love quilts!), and I was hoping you might help me. Sorry ahead of time if this is the wrong thread, or if I've violated any board rules.
My name is Dusty Shull, and I'm a reporter at The Paducah (Ky.) Sun newspaper (
http://paducahsun.com). I'm in charge of our special section "Paducah Patchwork", our guide to Quilt Week and the AQS quilt show coming up. It includes information about the show, feature stories, local store ads and ideas that can make your week more enjoyable. We usually have plenty out and about to find.
I wanted to include a section on simple advice from you experienced Paducah show-goers — like wear comfy shoes, leave the hubby at the hotel, best restaurants, etc. — for the newbie attendees. I could borrow some of your advice from a previous thread, but we'd like to include your real name and where you're from.
