I've made several and find them quite easy, just make the square "biscuits", cut a small slit in the back and lightly put in some fiber fill, then sew up the hole. Arrange in order you like and sew them together in rows first then all together (I use unbleached muslin for the back of the biscuits, then use a backing material for the whole quilt.
