I also like to piece and get the top done. I just made up my mind I had to finish my UFO's. I did 7 of them. It felt so good. Now I have 3 to do. So I am working to get them done. I will always have UFO's because I like to make new quilt tops. So having 3 to 5 isn't bad and I do get them done. I could never get up to 20 or more it would drive me crazy.
