Here are 3 quilts I have started and finished in the past two months. The first is a design on the fly quilt done in less than a day start to finish including selecting fabric, deciding on a design, piecing, quilting and binding. It was made for a member of a Bible study I lead at the nursing home. I leaned on Monday afternoon that she was being moved by her children to a nursing home in another city Wed. morning and they were going to have a little going away party for her Tuesday at 5:00. There are design choices I would have done differently given more time. The second is a comfort quilt for my art teacher who has leukemia and the third is an I spy quilt for a 5 year old who had open heart surgery this week. The first is knotted. The other two are free motion quilted on my home machine.
