I really love the fabrics you chose for your bear. I think they're better than the ones on the pattern. I have one started (took a class 3/19, and that's as far as I have gotten). I also like your idea of using extra batting, might try that when I quilt mine. I also have the moose and want to make it next (if I ever get back to working on the bear, that is).
