Conway and the White Mountains are in New Hampshire so if you are not planning to go to NH, it is a bit of a ride from the coast of Maine. There are so many beautiful coastal towns. If you start at Boothbay and proceed down then you will have a wonderful sightseeing tour. Camden, Me is just a beautiful town. There are plenty of art, antique and just plain fun places to shop all along the coast. Freeport, Maine has the famous L.L. Bean open 24 hours.
