thanks Pollyv9! Sorry to piggyback off of your post , i am too chicken to post my own! i did the backs as i pieced each block - backing on top of the batting then added the strips one by one so as i sewed the strips on i was quilting throught the layers. it went pretty quick! Once i had all the blocks i wanted i then used the sashing to piece the whole thing together.
