I love going to the second hand stores to look for vintage patterns. I have tons of them, but, it is an addiction with me, so I can't stop buying them. I have used some of them. Especially the accessories and children's toy ones. They are so darn cute! Some of them are now being sold again as vintage remakes. I get a kick out of knowing I have the originals when I see them on line at the pattern sites.

I also like the vintage forties draperies to cut up for purses and traveling accessories. They are so cool to use as that. Although, I haven't found any of that in a while. Kind of tropical, with a green background. Know what I mean? I have found silk pieces that have been used for pillows and woolens that have made great sewing hams and sleeve pressing pillows. Ahhh what would we have done without a goodwill store when times were tight.
