Here in the U.K. we do not have many quilt shops or groups, I started a small group 12yrs ago, 5 of us meet once a fortnight in each others houses. We make project linus quilts and do not take new members as we have been together so long and stick to the number that can easily fit into all our houses. I was thrilled then, when a new wool shop opened in the next village, started to sell small amounts of fabric and last Saturday started a quilting group. I went along and their were 8 people there, all strangers to me, but we all got along well and even after 30yrs of quilting I leart a new block/method. I was seeking inspiration and friendship and seem to have found both. :D
