I'm having trouble finding the correct size for a quilt. The quilt patterns that are for queen beds are usually too small. When you add the dimensions of the matress top with a blanket on it and then add for the deep deep matresses, most queen quilts are way to small. I'm doing a frayed edge french roses quilt. It has to be washed and dried once or twice to get fuzzy edges and shrinks some. I guess, I just have to guess at how large to make it. Would rather have it large than small. King size seems to be a good queen size. What do others do?
