I wanted to create different textures between the squares to break them apart.....I like it when certain areas "pop" or raise out and there is no exception for this quilt.
I think this quilt will grow with her neice as she gets older she will always appreciate the colors and style of this quilt.
I quilted this in my INNOVA no computer or pantograph quilting.
I used Hobbs polydown batting.
