I am finishing up a couple of other projects but I have my fabric, thread, and embroidery thread. I think this will be the prettiest quilt I've ever made and it is the first one I have made with a group. It will be great to learn from those who have experience in hand applque.
Thanks for your wishes.

I have something to share with everyone, you can indeed use acrylic paints on your fabric, you only need to use "Fabric Painting Medium", which converts acrylics to Fabric paints. Mix 2 parts acrylic paint with 1 part medium, and only apply to washed and dried fabric, after painting you will have to leave your painted fabric for 24 hours to air dry.

While I have been waiting for my book "AOTH, I have been playing with the acrylics....

Also need to use a fabric brush with the acrylics
