Just like there are different grades of TP and/or paper towels depending on price and brand, there seem to be different grades of paper used for different brands of paper napkins ...
I don't think I'd go out and buy new ones, but I might try with leftovers from a birthday party or something .....
I've never thought of using them for quilting projects .... but if you can use pages from a telephone book, I don't see much difference ....
