I will never pay those prices for fabric.Can't afford it,but wouldn't pay even if I could.
Working on a scrappy sofa throw from stash now.After that, will stick with stash & fabrics bought on sale/clearance prices.
Have made enough bed size quilts,so making lap quilts,table runners & sofa throws works for me.Less fabric used & no need of a LA quilter.
Remembering when my Grma made quilts needed to keep her family warm,using gray wool blankets for batting & feed sacks / sheets for the outer cover.They were tied, lasted forever & had nothing to do with a hobby.....such as most quilting is today.
