I noticed the one on BaySideQuilting is called "TrueSharp Power Sharpener". In the video it states it will remove nics. Wonder if it's the same or a different one?

>>It is called the TrueCut Power Sharpener. It can also be found at Connecting Threads. It is currently on sale. There was also a different posting for free shipping. I'm not sure if this applies to Aussie's though, if not I'm sorry. You may be able to have your local LQS carry these.

Here is a link to the item.

Item No. 81995
Sharpen your blades with the push of a button! Sharpens any brand blade, 28mm, 45mm,and 60mm, both sides sharpened at the same time no matter how dull.

Note: Cannot sharpen blades that have nicks in them. Blades not included.

5" x 3" x 3"sharpens blades: 28mm, 45mm, and 60mm

For blades with nicks in them, you can take a metal nail file and carefully try to smooth out the nick while in your rotary cutter.

I have not used this sharpener yet, but it would seem to work as the manual sharpener did.

Hope this is helpful to other quilters.
