I found that the blue pounce powder does not come off easily, sometimes not at all. I have used the white that comes off with a spritz of water and a bit of a wipe...no problems there. When all of my "old" powder is gone, I will switch to the iron off powder, especially for customer's quilts since I really don't want them to bleed and ruin their quilt on my quilting frame!!!
