While searching for my walking foot I came across a few feet that were sort of generic and fit all kinds of machines. You have to be careful though because the feed dogs are longer on some feet than others. Also, the shank size (the piece where the foot attaches to and makes it go up and down as it sews) are different sizes like low or high. Most of the generic that I came across did say the various brands and models that it will fit.
Also, What I found was that price wise for our Singer machines it really didn't matter if the foot was a generic or if it was name brand. It may be different for the various brand names.
