Ever done something like this - while quilting I left the machine for a minute & when I came back, sat down not noticing the edge of the quilt was on the chair.
The quilt was under the needle & there was a horrible ripping sound.
1" tear in middle of block! Nearly cried!
I plan to fmq butterflies in the red HSTs - so after a carefully hand darned repair appliqued a butterfly over it. The tear on the back will have the label over it as it's the edge block. I was lucky it wasn't a bigger rip!
