Rolled around swimming "noodles" that have a piece of muslin wrapped and pinned around it first. I roll with front of wall hanging facing in (so you see the back when rolled) and secure with scrap bias fleece strips tied in a bow at the top, bottom and middle of tube. They are loose and will not make marks. If you wrap around an unprotected cardboard tube or piece, it can leech and stain from the acids in the cardboard.
