I pined every square corner, I ran out of pins and had to go buy more...LOL

Thats why I dont understand why it had so many puckers, I thinking the fabric streched...
You could try spray basting next time. Since I discovered that I have had ZERO problems with puckers. It's much quicker, easier on the back and knees, and my expectation for quality is much higher than pinning. This king was spray basted and quilted on my domestic mach.
