This is one of my very favorite patterns. I think it is called the Hunter's Star, I have the pattern and am going to make one soon. I made a little "test" top a couple of years ago, and it is not difficult using Thangles. I only used two colors and it is pretty, but yours is BEAUTIFUL and you should be proud of it. Bravo.
