i went into your blog and looked at your "perfect square"quilt.
I made a T-shirt quilt using same idea but used blocks from
4"x4" to 16"x16" squares .....and anything in between from
4"x8" to 12"x16" rectangles.
All placed here and there....no uniform placement.
What a challenge.....but like your's, the end was such a joy.
