On the selvedge edge, find a specific leaf/flower or whatever ... follow along til you find the exact same one there. Make sure it is the exact same design.
From point to point is your repeat.
There are very small repeats of minimal inches (think nothing prints) .... and the repeat pattern can be very spread out.
