Jtapp9, I can't find the pages, but somewhere in this shop Billy talks about the Spartan. My first vintage machine - I found it at a yard sale for $5 - was a Spartan. When I asked about the machine, Billy told me that the Spartan is the stripped down version of a 99, but that it is now worth more as there are a lot less Spartans than 99's. He also said somewhere here on this forum that if I find one in a cabinet it is worth even more, as there were very few cabinets made for the Spartans.
