We raised them here many years ago - we live on a dirt road at the dead end - so no traffic to bother them. But, guess because they were so inbred - the male was very mean. Their "scream" sounds like a very loud "HALP". We wound up selling them. We sat a large mirror out by the barn and the idiot male would fan his tail feathers and strut to the "other" peacock in the mirror. They lose their feathers about 4th of July and get them back about Christmas.
