Most of the piecing and even the decorative stitches were done on my Janome but the lace, ribbons, appliques, buttons, beads and beaded fringe I did by hand. My good friend Cheryle watched me work on it over a number of months and was quite surprised when she found it inside a surprise box delivered while out to dinner at Olive Garden.
