I'm pretty bad. If I lose interest in a quilt I just push it to the back burner.
I have fabric for 2 t-shirt quilts for a relative that are on my "not interested" shelf. I could get them done in a week or so but I just don't want to make them. But I will eventually.
Maybe this thread will kick start me.
