Make it a once a month trip, get groceries etc while you are there to make the trip worthwhile.
We do -- we live 30 miles from the nearest Walmart - and Albertson's (a grocery store) is next door to it. So --we already manage our trips.
As for walking -- NO way!!! It's 1 1/2 miles from our house to the DQ -- and nothing in between....kinda blows the idea of exercise when you walk to the DQ and get a big ice cream cone!!! ROL
