Oh yes....they can be noisy. One or two would be tolerable, but get a whole flock and things can get messy!

I still love them, mess or not. Heck, they're birds!
The zoo here had a bunch of them but they had to "relocate" them because a toddler went chasing after one and yanked on the tail feathers. The peacock did the only natural thing, went to peck the yanker. So in the interest of liability, no more free roaming peacocks. I would rather have seen a sign to the effect, "toddlers who attack peacocks will be feathered. Or something like that. Where were the parents!
