Supervising little ones, it is good teaching - sorting by colors, by sizes, counting - remember the counting to a 100. All kinds of math - basic add/subtract. Besides art projects. I saw a really cut "bunny" created with browns shades of buttons and one with the white/beige buttons. Iwould love to create one of these for Easter.

... and for future 'gifts' of unwanted buttons, there's always the garbage can.
