I have a lady by me that listed her HQII frame on Craigslist ~ she needs to pay some bills... what is a good price for a frame that has only been used 3 times? She paid at our local dealer $1500 for it...

I read the biggest complaint people had with this was they desired more room fairly quickly (throat space) ~ I would use it with my Husqvarna Sapphire, which has a 10" throat, so I am blessed to have a machine that isn't just a standard DSM ...

I do a lot of FQM just with the little slippery sheet on my Sapphire already, but it just binds ME up so much, with my arthritis... and even a Queen Quilter or used Tin Lizzy just isn't in the cards for me for a few years (lots of years).

I am very tempted, but don't want (and cannot afford) to pay over fair market value, but since they aren't selling them anymore, have no clue what is reasonable?

With all the QFK & PL & QOV quilts I do, this could basically mean one thing ~ faster FMQ and MORE quilts done ... and I'm getting ready to start working on the two wedding quilts for my brother's kids, and our local NICU has requested 12-20 coverlettes and preemie snakes sets...
