Actually looking at the logo and the companies time line I would put this on in the 1970's somewhere. I am still just getting into the Japanese machine research (only 3 years into it) and there is not a lot of information about the machines out there. I probably know more about them than anyone else on the planet but trying to get all of my factory documents deciphered is taking a while. (all in Japanese)

But I can tell you that it will use the standard 15x1 needles and the Class 15 bobbins all of which are found very easily. I know that Brothers are a sturdy machine and you can not kill them. I have worked on several of the very early ones and I really loved them. In fact I am looking for a "Windomatic" because that machine set the benchmark for every machine that was made anywhere in the world ever since. Very hard to find and very nice!!!
