Before finding this board, I subscribed to 2 or 3 of the Yahoo groups. I guess I just lost interest in them and dropped out... Now I only read/talk on this group.
The reason I'm asking is, there was a Shirley in Iowa on one of the groups that collected orphan quilt blocks and used them as part of charity quilts. That lady could do amazing things with ALL shapes/sorts of blocks. I've got several blocks just taking up space around here and thought if maybe someone on here "knew" her, you could get me her info so I could send these to her. Can't for the life of me remember which group, but I just remember she "reported" every week on all the quilts she'd put together with many of the leftover blocks. The only group I remember is Stashbusters, but I don't want to go to the trouble of rejoining if someone here might possibly know her.
