Oh yes such memories you have brought back of going to Sprouse Ritz with my grandma for fabric. I can still hear the tick tick of the little machine as it would measure out the fabric then the snip and the little lady (and I do mean little she was real tiny) ripping the fabric. That was my favorite store then off to J. C. Penny where we would get more fabric and then Rasco's oh man such memories of Saturdays with grandma downtown. The off to sew. Those were simpler times and fabric everywhere and love and and and oh man you made me cry remembering the GOOD times shared with my grandma and the little machine and ripping the fabric. Thank you sew much for reminding me of days gone by. Gave me an idea now not that I need any more ideas or stuff to congest my house but I am going to be on a quest to see if I can find one of those counter machines. LOL Thanks again for sharing.
