We pass this way on the way to the hunting camp and we stopped in. There are two places along the highway that sell quilts hung out on a wash line like this. One of the places we stopped and we drove up behind the barn. In the small building, lit with kerosene lanterns on cloudy days, were tables and shelves stacked with quilts. The 'clerks' were barefoot. I think the area Amish/Mennonite ladies made the quilts, not just one family. All colors, styles. I remember a lot made of solid color fabrics. We bought 2 wall hanging size - a mariner's compass and one a bit smaller that I can see in my mind but can't name. One was $80 and the other $60. We bought them to hang in my husband's office.
