SW MO here - and yes, we put out grape jelly in a bright yellow detergent cup (washed out of course). We saw a Baltimore Oriole yesterday around our regular bird feeders so we hurridly put out our grape jelly cups but have not seen a bird since. They stay around here all summer eating the jelly.
