Charisma's work is stunning and I adore this one. I'd have an LA machine if I could afford it but meanwhile I am quite happy quilting on my 6600 - I don't do projects this big but Katrine here on the board has on her 6600 and you'd mistake it for LA work if you didn't know. There are many other members who FMQ beautifully on their regular sewing machines too. It IS possible to FMQ outstandingly on a domestic machine - it just takes practice. Also not everyone is as expert a long armer as Charisma - not freehand anyway. It's the quilter NOT the machine who has the talent. You might as well look at a Rembrandt painting and say 'what a beautiful job that paintbrush did'! Sorry, had to vent as this kind of comment upsets me. :?
