What is your favorite memory of your childhood ? Mine was being rocked in my mother's lap when I was about 3or 4. My sweetest memory ! She would sing to me songs like , "as time goes by" and casey would waltz with the strawberry blond and the band played on , there'll be bluebirds over the white cliffs of dover, etc. Another wonderful memory was when my father rocked me in his lap in my grandmother's rocker and I remember the smell of his freshly ironed white shirt when my face was pressed against his chest. Just realized they were both memories of being rocked !
