My earliest quilting memory is working with my Grandmother, Mother,& Aunt embroidering & sewing together & then quilting baptism bibs for our church. I was about 5. This is the root of my love of any form of stitchery.

I remember all of us sitting in the parlour of the big old farm house we owned, fireplace blazing on a cold Buffalo, NY snowy night, laughing & sewing, having hot chocolate & homemade goodies that my Grandmother always made. She was the best baker, I can still taste her caramel & nut sweet buns!

All are gone now, but the memories warm my heart!

Thanks for starting this, you made my day happy!
