I went online to
http://www.petfinder.com and searched for shih tzu in my area by zip code within 300 miles radius, and lots of them 2, 591 shih tzu online to be adopted from shelters, foster moms etc.
On her ad had the foster mom's phone # so I called her on Sunday and picked her up on Monday afternoon.
